Well, I'm waiting for my Tylenol PM to kick in, so here I am. I took Jimmy home and outside smelled exactly like fish, halibut to be exact, so I couldn't go to bed without documenting this day/night.5 months is a long time to be living among the Mormons, but I think that I finally get it. I have realized that the fun lame stuff that I always wanted to do while living in Seattle, like bowling or going to an arcade is SUPER popular in Utah. Why you say? No drinking, no drugs, so everyone wants to go there. I could always go bowling on campus on a Friday, but here it's like there isn't anything else to do. Utah people=weird.
Work is going great. I think that I got another raise and didn't know about it. Like I looked at my paycheck today, and minimum wage in Utah is 7.25 and my paycheck said 8.00, so yah. I think so.
School, I will be happy for it to be done, and then I can tackle being a teacher. People always say that Utah is looking for math teachers, so maybe I'll stick around here for that. I don't plan on spending my life here. (I need a juicer, you'll understand why in a second, an infomercial just came on).
Christmas, oh man that was tons of fun. But hopefully I'll never have to make that drive again. Me and Jimmy only drove ourselves to Rexburg, but that drive from Rexburg to Washington is THE WORST. It was really nice to see the family. Everyone was home for Christmas eve, so we did all the good stuff that day. We had a HUGE dinner and played pinochle and did the gift card draw. Jimmy had a $100 amazon card, but then at the very end my dad made us switch to the left and he lost it. I ended up with $50 to Target and Jimmy had $50 to Sears.
My mom signed me up for Weight Watchers today. I'm going to try it. I know that I'm not a skinny girl and it does make me feel self-conscious, so I'll give this a try. It's going to be hard. I noticed while looking at stuff that eating healthy is going to be expense, but I think that it will be worth it. I'll have to eat my veggies. Ugh, I hate veggies. I LOVE fruit though. That's why I want the juicer.
